Arrive-Srinagar (Local Sightseeing) – Mughal Gardens

On arrival at the Srinagar Airport, you will be received by our local manager/driver and arrange check-in at the hotel before proceeding for local sight-seeing.

One of the places to visit is Chashmashahi, or 'The Regal Spring. It is one of the top Mughal gardens in the city. Mughal King Shajahan constructed the beautiful garden in 1632, and its unique design revolves around a central fresh water spring, which inspired the garden's name.

Nishat Bagh, or the Garden of Pleasure, is nestled on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, with the transcending Zabarwan hills in its majestic background. The beautiful garden came up in 1634 during the rule of Emperor Jahangir and was elegantly designed by Asaf Khan.

Shalimar Bagh is considered the ultimate Mughal-style slope garden built under Emperor Jahangir in 1619 for his beloved wife Nur Jahan. The Shalimar Bagh also served as the summer home of the Mughals. The water trenches and wellsprings covering the bulk of the garden and the gurgling sound of flowing water make the garden very special.

To secure your reservation you need to make 25% of the total invoice amount as an advance and remaining balance you have to pay 15 days before the date of arrival.
